Sh*t Happens
Almost every week, when im about to update my blog, always sh*tty things happens. Usually it would just be no net connection or host problem. But now it had gone worst! Laptop got busted! ![]()
“Turns laptop on”
“Open task manager”
“End tasks, unsecessary processes”
“Accidentally end process SVCHOST!”
“OMG”
“Laptop say: Shuts down in 40 seconds (counting) Please save all of your files”
“Panics, don’t know what to do”
“Press the SHUTDOWN button”
“Turns laptop on again”
“LOLZ! OMG! WTF! Blue screen with errors!”
“Waaaaa!”
“4 Days looking for windows installer”
“Finally found one!”
“Reformatted laptop”
“Success!”
“BUT, not net. Tsk!”
“USB Lan is also busted! Totally WTF!
”
“Talks to Ate Dianne about the problem - she offered help”
“Receive a package from LBC”
“Yey! From Ate Dianne!”
“2 Kawaii pouches and……”
“……and a USB LAN! hahaha”
“Install the driver, sets up the IP”
“AT LAST IM BACK!”

- At last LBC package from Ate Dianne has arrived!
- Oh yeah! USB Lan for the laptop!
- Kawaii mushroon pouch!
- Another kawaii popsicle pouch!
I’ll be adding more stuff in my sidebar by the way. I hope I’ll get it done before Friday.
How does it feel having no net connection at home?
Have you ever tried fixing/reformatted your pc/laptops?

It sucks without internet connection and i’ve never tried reformatting my desktop/laptop on my own. I’m too scared to do any reformatting by myself. Those are cute pouches indeed :) At least everything’s fixed now!

Aw.. Sorry for what happened to your laptop. Naranasan ko nadin yan. Kaso sakin naman di nag-blue screen.
Ang cute naman ng padala sayo sis. Hehe. Dati pag wala akong net, parang ang bagal ng buhay ko. Seryoso. At naranasan ko na magreformat. Kahit magbaklas ng cpu at ibalik lahat nagawa ko na. Grbe trabaho un.

Argh, I hate BSOD, the dreaded blue screen of death. Good thing I always partition my hard drive so in case OS fails, my important files won’t be deleted too.
Those things are so kawaii.

I’m glad you were able to fix your laptop and someone helped you with it, heh! My dad usually helps me with fixing mine whenever there’s something wrong with it; I’d probably cause more problems if I tried fixing it myself.
It’s times like those that I’m really glad I have a techie-geek for a father.
Anyway, welcome back, and keep safe! ;]

Oh noes! That’s so unfortunate but good to hear everything’s back to normal! Yehey.
1. I feel so dumb. It feels like there’s nothing you can do at all without net connection. But good thing our ip’s fine but bitch sometimes.
2. My dad often does the reformatting or fixings, but sometimes he just makes things worst! >.<

OH NOES! THE BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH. That’s what computer geeks call it. Haha.
Welcome back to the online world! I envy you, I like the two pouches!
How does it feel having no net connection at home? I might go crazy, unless I have enough dvds of movies I haven’t seen yet to keep me sane…
Have you ever tried fixing/reformatted your pc/laptops? yes. It’s my…. specialty, haha. I’ve done it for so many times already.

Here’s a tip, if ever you accidentally end the svchost again, Startmenu >> Run [Windows Key + R to be faster] then on the run prompt type in “shutdown -a” w/o the quotes.

Hi all:
Firstly please excuse my intrusion. My pseudoname is Rippler, I’m a guy. I happened to pass by this site having “laptop” as my search parameter on Google.
I’m sorry but I just can’t help but give you girls some tips when fixing your pc/laptops. Girls can be as good in tech repairs as guys.
So here goes:
1) Before formatting/reformatting, make sure you have all your pc/laptop driver installers on hand. If you bought your unit from a retail store, you should have installers bundled. If you got your unit some other way such as buying second hand or you may have lost your installers for some reason, make sure you download the latest drivers for your SPECIFIC UNIT (and for a SPECIFIC OPERATING SYSTEM that you intend to use). Installing the wrong drivers will cause you more headaches.
2) As you boot your pc, make sure you have your Operating System installer placed on your cd/dvd reader. In your BIOS settings [usually you can enter this by hitting the 'DEL' key on your keyboard while your pc is booting up], make sure you have set the boot order to boot the cd-rom/dvd-rom drive first before your hard drive.
3) When finished installing the OS (most likely you are using Windows), you may notice that other devices aren’t working. Have no fear, this will be the high time you use your driver installers. Often, the sequence in installing the drivers follows this:
a) Chipset driver
b) Video/Display driver
c) LAN drivers
d) All other drivers
4) You will often be asked to restart each time you successfully install a driver, so please DO RESTART EACH TIME you are asked to.
That’s basically all you should know about reformatting your pc/laptop safely. If all else fails, you may need to have your laptop checked by a professional pc repair service provider.
Thanks girls for the time. I hope I have helped you with your problems in this aspect. Kudos!
