Sketch

It’s almost been a year since my last drawing. Last Febuary, I asked hubby to buy me a new sketchpad and charcoal pencil (even though I still have plenty of pages from my old sketchpad). After that day, I didn’t even touch it. Guess, I had been too busy with work. Not until last week, I finally had a moment with it. And yeah, I was having a hard time. :3: Looks like the pencil was so againts me, It wouldn’t move to the way I wanted it to be. I was able to make five page scraps from the pad, which is so unlikely me. Modesty aside, before it would just take me an hour or two to draw what’s on my mind. But now? Oh I’m getting rusty. So, here it is. It wasted five pages of my pad and took me more than 2 hours to do so simple image like this. Oh dear, I need more practice. :4:

Another Addiction

WARNING: You are about to see a very ugly drawing! LOL!

Before anything else. Big thanks to Ate Dhadha, Sheryl, Ayie, and Aisha for helping me book a ticket for a very special trip. I was having problem with my Visa/Eon account so I can’t use it in buying etickets. Thank you so much for your help pretty girls. :9:

Now moving on.. What’s with the title? Well, I love playing with colors. Especially with oil pastel’s colors. Easy to blend, easy to use. But I don’t really use oil pastels on portraits. I usually do it with ordinary pencils or charcoal pencils. So this is something new and somehow totally challenging. The portrait doesn’t really look so good. Please bare with me. It’s my first time to make a portrait using oil pastels. I made this for 2 hours only, so this isn’t really such a materpiece. :4:
