I don’t really know how to start this topic. After I got this idea to post. Excitement went up. Memories went rumbling in my mind. I don’t know which to share first. Haha. Bare with me, I just want this post to be perfect. For what reason? Because this post is all about the two N’s in my life. Or should I say, the two most important N’s in my life.

Nile Joie and Nehemiah Faris. Some of you might know them. Some, probably not yet. Well, they’re my two boys. Nile Joie is my hubby and Nehemiah Faris is my son. Im so thankful having them.

Before anything else. Big thanks to Ate Dhadha, Sheryl, Ayie, and Aisha for helping me book a ticket for a very special trip. I was having problem with my Visa/Eon account so I can’t use it in buying etickets. Thank you so much for your help pretty girls.

Now moving on.. What’s with the title? Well, I love playing with colors. Especially with oil pastel’s colors. Easy to blend, easy to use. But I don’t really use oil pastels on portraits. I usually do it with ordinary pencils or charcoal pencils. So this is something new and somehow totally challenging. The portrait doesn’t really look so good. Please bare with me. It’s my first time to make a portrait using oil pastels. I made this for 2 hours only, so this isn’t really such a materpiece.

The true essence of art is beauty, joined with the desire for sensual pleasures of the nude, which often end up and confused with vulgarity. Nudity is always disquieting, causing confusions to the ignorants. It’s instigation, causing too much deliberation and arguement in the religious sector. But at the same time, it’s also surprising, making people wonder and amaze how someone can make great masterpiece out of nude models.

Hahaha, so much for that, I had new sets of goodies by the way. Some had been asking me where did I get my paper graphics for my past layouts. They were actually scans and was edited in photoshop. I’m feeling generous, so I’m gonna share it. And to add up, more textures, board and crumpled paper. Weee!
